The Chick Mission is an inspiring nonprofit partner of the CU Fertility Preservation and Reproductive Late Effects Program working to change the status quo of cancer care. The Chick Mission fights on behalf of cancer patients to protect their fertility futures through patient education, direct financial assistance, and relentless advocacy…and they manage to have some fun while doing so!
That’s where The Great Egg Freeze comes in. Starting Monday, November 8th through Tuesday, November 23rd (Giving Tuesday), the fertility preservation team at CU Anschutz is taking the plunge with The Chick Mission and we invite you to make a splash (and a difference) with us!
It is because of The Chick Mission that many of our patients can proceed with fertility sparing procedures such as egg, embryo, and sperm freezing. The Chick Mission has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars to our UCHealth and Children’s Hospital of Colorado patients for egg freezing. By participating in The Great Egg Freeze with us, we’re helping The Chick Mission continue to provide this generosity to future patients battling cancer diagnoses that threaten fertility.
